TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

TabTrade — What It Is

TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

His background is relevant. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is broad.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have used MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would be a good addition when it lands.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the thing Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. None of this guarantee anything. It should inform your assessment.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense is your call.

The Bonus

TabTrade has bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
